Day Camp: June 25-28 2018

  • Tuition for Day Camp is $400 for early registration and $450* once early registration has closed.
      

Resident Camp: June 24-28 2018

  • Tuition for Resident Camp is $800 for early registration and $900** once early registration has closed.

Widener's Summer Engineering Camp is serious fun. You'll make concrete blocks, launch soda bottle rockets, and explore the fields of chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, robotics, and biomedical engineering.

Widener's Engineering Summer Camp was developed by engineering faculty at Widener to introduce high school students to the field of engineering in a nurturing, noncompetitive, "hands-on" environment.

Students experience a four-day schedule full of computer workshops, demonstrations, films, laboratory exercises, discussion groups, and presentations, all while having fun.

Engineers Night with the 76ers!
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Charlotte Hornets

  • Come out to learn more about career paths of architects and engineers; you will get the opportunity to network and learn from professionals!
  • From 1:30-2:55 we will have a Q&A session from panel speakers on the 76ers court!
  • Following the session, we will be at the Cure Insurance Club to participate in hands-on activities to learn more about various technical fields.
  • 5:30-6 PM we will have special access to watching the NBA players' shoot-around before the game starts at 7 PM.
  • Everyone will take home a Sixer's drawstring bag. They can be redeemed outside of Section 111/112 from the 1st-3rd quarter of the game.
  • Food will be provided.
  • Tickets are just $10!

Drexel University IEEE: Arduino Workshop

Drexel IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is organizing an Arduino workshop for 8th - 10th grade children. This is a great opportunity to introduce your child to working with Arduino Unos. The children will learn how to program the Arduino Uno to perform different tasks. During the workshop, we will introduce the children to the basic concepts of Arduinos and we will end the workshop with a fun mini project that reinforces all the concepts.
